Dutch Door House by Magnolia

You may already know Chip and Joanna Gaines of Magnolia from their HGTV show, Fixer Upper, or their blog or maybe from working with them. Fixer Upper is now in it’s second season and they recently aired an episode on The Dutch Door House. Chip and Joanna worked with the home owners to completely makeover their new house; giving the exterior a facelift, opening up the interior and creating a warm, inviting and beautiful place to come home to everyday. Magnolia used several pieces from High Fashion Home as well (noted below) and we thank you, Magnolia, for including us in your write up on the incredible Dutch Door House. We are huge admirers of your work!! 🙂

Ryan Street & Associates

The team at Ryan Street & Associates is uber talented and creates some of the most inviting, elegant and refined interiors around. Most of the designs start with white and neutral surroundings which allows the more subtle details, like lighting, furniture and accents, to really be the focus. Each space looks so effortless but so thought out at the same time. Love, love!

Cat Mountain Residence in Tucson

Cat Mountain Residence by Cornerstone Architects is so stunning! While the whole house is perfectly put together it still has a very effortless and natural feel to it. Cornerstone made beautiful use of reclaimed wood and numerous architectural accents. They filled each spacious room with incredible furniture and eye catching prints. I love the pink bathroom!! It’s so unexpected and playful. And, I can’t forget the views! Amazing.

The Hill Country Home of Sara Story

Sara Story is a highly sought after and accomplished interior designer; her Texas Hill Country home is not the rustic, barn-esque type home that you might expect when you think of a country house. Wide open rooms, floor to ceiling windows and loads of Texas limestone serve as the perfect surroundings for Sara’s beautiful, modern interior. Beautiful.

Country Hill in Austin, Texas!!

I love Texas. I mean, I do live here after all. We really do have some gorgeous country and this Austin, TX home is situated right in it! Designed by Jauregui Architects, the Country Hill residence is big and beautiful, Texas style. The interior is not fussy and very classic. I am not usually a fan of exposed brick on the inside of a home but even I could live with this.

Amity Worrel – Interior Designer

While waiting for my oil to be changed, I perused an Austin specific (sorry I can’t remember the name) interior design magazine. Pages and pages of envy worthy design and I was then introduced to Amity Worrel. Amity is an interior designer in Austin, TX and I LOVE her work! She’s not afraid to use color, she chooses interesting prints and nice core pieces. Here, see what I mean??
