Mirror, Mirror On the Wall

I love using mirrors. Mirrors make rooms feel bigger, they add personality, the can do double duty for checking your hair and makeup as well as functioning as a piece of art; a piece of art that changes as you move about the room. Love ’em. Here is some mirror inspiration.

You can go floor to ceiling to really open up an area.

Notting Hill Townhome!

This Notting Hill townhome belongs to interior designer Peter Mikic and his partner, Sebastian Scott. Their home used to part of hotel and was completely rundown when they bought it. As you will see from the pictures below, they have given the house a new life and it’s quite fantastic! They have an affection for big, framed prints, custom made furniture and they’re are not afraid to throw some color around. I love this place.

This velvet sofa is so beautiful! And I love the mirror tiles.
The space is so bright! I love the mirror above the fireplace.
See the big prints on the wall? Love them. And the green rug is an expected touch of color.
Such a lovely breakfast area. Table and chairs are custom made.

EVERYONE should be able to have a fabulous sofa by the tub!

You watch TV there, read books there, hang out with your family there, take a nap on the couch in there…. the living room. Usually a pretty good size space, there are so many things you can do with your living room. Here are some inspiring pictures!

Go Green and Gold!

I so love this space. I’m not sure what site the picture originally came from but I found it while pinning like a maniac on Pinterest. I love everything about this! The mirror is excellent, the cabinet is a beautiful color and I love that the lamps have the simple, clear base because it allows the space to not look too busy. Just wanted to share. Happy weekend all!!
