Country French!!

The home of Mathilde Labrouche in Southwest France is fabulous. It’s old, it has unfinished paint, beautiful stone and hardwood flooring, it looks it could fall apart at any minute (even though it’s won’t)… even some of the furniture looks that way (but it’s not) and I love it all!

The ram’s head sculpture makes quite a statement.

I mean, this could be a painting!

The turquoise doors add a nice pop of color.

Mathilde designed the bed to the right.

Funky Stairs in France!

Leave it to an art school in France to produce such a beautiful piece of functional art! These stairs are spectacular!! Designed by TETRARC Architects this whimsical staircase lives in The School of Arts in Saint Herblain, France. Maybe climbing stairs is more fun when they look like this?! : )

Incredible Trailer Home in France!!

The outside looks a lot like an old train/subway car that someone turned into a place to live. But once you step inside, WOW! not at all what you would expect. This regular small trailer looks very spacious inside with all white walls and smartly placed mirrors. Color abounds in the interior making this quite a charming place to live.
