Before & After: High Fashion Living Room Makeover

If you’re looking to redo or spruce up your living room, it’s not as big a chore (or as expensive) as you might think. High Fashion Home’s, Dolley Levan, talked with Elle Decor and offered up some easy and totally doable tweaks to transform the living room. Including a unique statement piece can easily change the face of a room. Adding subtle yet eye catching accessories will add warmth and really liven up your space. The real game changer (in my opinion) in this living room was the swapping of the window shutters for elegant drapes. Light floods the living room, highlighting every wonderful accent and gives the space a new, fabulous life!! I am a HUGE fan of drapes/curtains and the pictures below are the perfect example of why.

Tremendous thank you to Elle Decor for featuring High Fashion Home’s design team and in this makeover piece!! And, thank you to House Beautiful for sharing it! We are truly honored.

Anne Hepfer Interiors

I am in awe of Anne Hepfer’s work. Anne’s designs are layered, artistic, sophisticated and unique. Each space she puts together is detailed, brilliantly planned and she infuses each interior with such personality. I love that she isn’t afraid to throw in some color and great prints.

Curtain Call!

Curtains, curtains, curtains! I have been browsing curtains for a couple of weeks now and have come across so many fabulous ideas and designs. The right curtains can add so much to a room and really complete the space. Hang them as high as possible too, that will make the room look bigger!

Gorgeous in Greenwich

Elle Decor never disappoints me with the homes that they feature. This weekend home in Greenwich, Connecticut (interior design by Thom Filicia) is so lovely. Each room has a distinct look and Thom made great use of earth tones, eye-catching prints and beautiful antique furniture. There is a relaxed sophistication to the decor, so put together but still looks comfortable. Perfect combo.
