Limited site space and neighboring houses didn’t stop Rolf Ockert Design from creating a truly incredible home for their eager clients! With spectacular views of the Pacific and a streamlined interior, the Bronte House is an architectural delight.

Stoney Cross Low Energy House in the UK

The Stoney Cross House has been very thoughtfully planned. PAD Studio is behind this simple and eco-friendly beauty set within The New Forest National Park in the UK. Rainwater harvesting, grey water recycling, a natural swimming pond and the use of sustainable materials helped this home fit in easily with its earthy surroundings.

"Bohemian Apartment" in New York

Now, I’ve heard of a funhouse before (usually found at carnivals) but this New York apartment is a FUN HOUSE! There is so much going on in here and lots of the rooms make me feel as though I am looking at a Wes Anderson movie set. You can tell that Incorporated Architecture & Design put a lot of thought into this place to inject it with kid friendly design while still making it a place that mom and dad can live in too. You’ll see what I mean….

Now, I know that this is probably too much for some people but I love the creativity and colorful design in this home! And the neutral wood paneled walls are so beautiful.
An indoor playhouse for the kids! CUTE!!
Obviously the most tame room in the home is mom and dads. Love the antique panel against the wall.

Love the tiled accent.

Ross Residence in Ross, California!

The Ross Residence, in Marin County, is one of those homes that is so beautiful all on it’s own; with or without home furnishings. The space is so open and free flowing with large windows that offer spectacular views of the lush outdoors. I enjoy the folded roof which gives the home an interesting dimension inside and an eye appealing extra outside. The “personal” stream flowing below the decks is an added bonus! Well done, Griffin Enright Architects!

Beautiful Inside and Out!!

The Dorsey Residence (by Coates Design) is an excellent mix of clean lines and simple on the outside and energetic and funky on the inside. I love the variety of textures and “ingredients” (concrete, bamboo, laminate, steel) used in the creation of this Washington State home. The gorgeous surrounding landscape is the cherry on top!

Pit House!!

The Pit House by UID Architects is so different and quite interesting. The interior is multi-level, rounded and your seat on the sofa gives you a street level view of the outdoors. The main floor of the home is built one meter off of the ground but has a sunken area in the middle of the home that is almost a below ground floor. The pictures will show you what I mean. Love it!
