Love for Chandeliers!

Oh, chandeliers. If you want to glam up a space, throw a chandelier in there. If you want a more romantic feel in your bedroom, add a chandelier. If you want to make a statement in a room, do it with a chandelier. Chandeliers add sparkle to any space and, let’s be honest, who doesn’t want more  in sparkle their room?

Interiors by Justine Hugh-Jones

I came across the incredible that is Justine Hugh-Jones interiors via Desire to Inspire. Justine uses lots of white and neutrals, everything is so well put together but looks so inviting and comfortable and she chooses great fabrics and textures. I especially love her bathroom designs! Love, love, love!

Stand Alone Tubs!

The bathtub. Sometimes the tub is just part of a shower/tub combo and other times the tub is the focal point of a bathroom. I recently stayed in a hotel with the most beautiful stand alone tub. That got me thinking of the fact that the stand alone tub is not a usual design choice for the bathroom so I wanted to find some inspiration. Why don’t we all have tubs like these?

Santorini Paradise!!

The Santorini home of hotelier, Costis Psychas, is about as perfect as I can imagine. First, it is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the world, Greece. Second, it has a history; it used to be the warehouse for  a pumice mining operation that was on the Santorini Island and part of it used to be under water. Third, the inside is so beautifully simple and cozy (also, I’m a sucker for the rounded ceilings and arches). A lot of love went into the restoration and renovation of this space. Fourth, did I mention it was on a Greek island? OH! And the bathtub?!? Oh yes. : )

Swedish Cottage!

More like a sweetish cottage! ; ) Situated on the coast of Gothenburg, Sweden with views of the North Sea, the cottage home of Gert Wingardh is so perfect and serene. The interior is not fussy and very cozy and the exterior is simple and blends well with it’s gorgeous surroundings. LOVE the frameless picture window in the dining room!
