The Home of Jackie Astier

Glamorous is the first word that comes to mind when I look at Jackie Astier’s New York home. Full of luxurious fabrics, gold and brass, lacquered and grasscloth walls and fabulous custom pieces, Jackie’s apartment is super stylish and incredibly designed.

Seaside Heaven by Donna Elle

Being at the beach is so relaxing and is such an excellent place to unwind. Now, if I were spending my days in a beachy heaven – like this Nantucket piece of perfection by Donna Elle – I would probably get nothing done (except for lounging, resting, sunning, etc.) and that would be okay.

Sonoma Style

How can a house feel campy and elegant at the same time? Located in Sonoma, California, this home (designed by Rela Gleeson) opens it’s doors and windows to the lush surroundings and welcomes it in. Huge trees are visible from just about every room and with stone walls, natural wood, neutral colors and simple furniture, the whole house feels so earthy and one with nature. And, the spots that ARE actually outdoors are simply perfect. Love it a lot!

New York Penthouse

If you have ever wondered what masculine elegance (sure, that’s a thing) looks like, this New York penthouse is it! Interior designer, Jane Kim, used reclaimed wood, exposed brick walls, steel, slate and Moroccan tiles to give this home an easy going sophistication. Fantastic!

Beautiful Italian Farmhouse!!

Situated in central Italy, not far from Tuscany, this farmhouse has the most beautiful surroundings but the inside of the home is quite fabulous as well. Interior designer, Eric Egan, took one year to makeover this 10,000 square foot 17th century abode. Full of antiques, modern pieces, rustic, earthy touches and statement accents, the home is has an refined, luxurious ease. And…. Did I mention the gorgeous outdoors?! Love it.

Let The (Sky)light In

A well placed skylight can really open up a room and of course, bring it lots of natural light where light might be lacking. Here are some incredible spaces where skylights make all the difference.

Shea McGee Design

I love being able to feature the fantastic work of the extremely talented interior designers out there. Shea McGee designs supremely well put together spaces that are layered but not fussy. Shea creates rooms that have such a classic look, the designs won’t “go out of style” and she’s not afraid of color and prints. Love her work!
