Steven Gambrel‘s interiors are classic, refined, sophisticated and subtly glam. He does not shy away from color and each home he lends his ideas to, has its own unique look and feel. Steven gives each room such detail and thought but his designs don’t feel overwrought or cluttered. Love.

Interior designer, Steven Gambrel, took a Chicago townhome and gave it life, color and a unique face. Steven used lots of vibrant, rich colors, bold geometric wallpapers and luxurious fabrics combined with custom and vintage pieces. The entire townhome is very daring yet classic, edgy, artsy and beautiful. (all photos from House Beautiful)
Interiors by Jan Hiltz are fantastic! I adore Jan’s choices for curtains, wallpapers, pillows, color scheme, art, prints; she clearly loves a great black and white print. Her designs are so happy and have GREAT little accents in not obvious places. I love, love her work!

I have always loved the look of navy velvet. My grandmother did have a navy velvet sofa, when I was little; maybe that’s when the appreciation started? Navy velvet looks so luscious, dramatic, elegant and timeless. Here’s some great navy velvet inspiration.
Full of color, artful wallpapers and bold prints, this Brooklyn townhouse by Miles Redd is bursting with personality. There’s an eclectic mix of furniture and decor accents; nothing boring going on in here. The living room has a Midsummer Night’s Dream, gardenesque feel while other parts of the house are more classic but brimming with creativity. The peacock feather wallpaper in the bathroom is pretty amazing. Well done. (all photos from House Beautiful)
Clean lines, easy going furnishings and materials taken directly from nature make this home (by architects, Gert and Karin Wingardh) so warm and completely comfortable. The simplicity of the house, the vibrant lush surroundings give a sense of calm just through the pictures. Imagine being there. Love this.
