CC’s 5 Faves: Accent Tables

A little over a week ago, The Glamourai mentioned several of High Fashion Home’s end tables amongst her favorites right now so I decided to add a few to her list. Check ’em out.

A picture from The Glamourai post. High Fashion Home tables are the bottom row left, The Miami Hexagonal Table and the middle Twig Table

I love the twisty Marrone Spiral Table

The Ojai Lattice Window Round Table is a simple, go anywhere piece.

Love the Bow Loop Table.

I love the rustic look of the Aldo End Table

The Shi Shi Table is just gorgeous!

Thinnest Home in the World??

I saw this today on freshome. If you are wondering is this is for real, it is. This is the Keret House by Jakub Szczesny of Centrala and it is really going to be constructed between 2 buildings in Wola, Poland. The house will have room for a bed, small kitchen area and work space. Maybe we will see it in Apartment Therapy’s Small Cool house contest one day!

Yep, the plan is to put it there.

This is what the house will look like inside. Very small but maybe you’re the type of person who can handle tiny like this. It really is a great idea to make use of unused space.

The stairs will be remote controlled retractable stairs.

The Sun House in Singapore!

I came across The Sun House on Contemporist today. This house, by Guz Architects, is very beautiful and I love how nature just seems to come right up to and inside the doors. There is so much light streaming in and so many fantastic views of the outdoors. Enjoy!

Fun Things I Found On The Internet!

I have been browsing the web A LOT today and came across numerous neat, fun and whimsical items and wanted to share some of them with you! Enjoy!

This is the Box Lounger by Loook Industries. Loook designed this chair to give privacy in public. The lounger dampens surrounding noise plus it’s really interesting to look at.

Dragon’s Tails Lamps by Luisa De Los Santos-Robinson. These are so awesome looking!

I love this room divider by Luis Eslava Studio for LZF Lamps. It’s very beautiful and would do interesting things to light coming in the room.

LOVE this Wood Camera iPhone Case by Photojojo!! It’s so creative, beautifully made and fun!!

These hand sculpted, embossed and inlaid leather textiles, by Genevieve Bennett, are so beautiful! They can be used for wall coverings, headboards or simply as wall art.

These Antique Dice Tables from Grandin Road are super cute! They would add an unexpected touch to the decor.

Heaven in Greece!

Of all the places I hope to visit in my lifetime Greece is #1 on my list. I love the culture, the food and it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen… At least in pictures and movies it is but I’m sure that it is even more breathtaking in person. When I visit Greece I wouldn’t mind at all if someone forced me to stay at Porto Zante on the island of Zakynthos. This award winning hotel is so beautiful and the surrounding landscape is incredible.

 OMG. Gorgeous!

Amazing Manhattan Apartment!

I found this incredible Manhattan apartment today thanks to Elle Decor. It was recently completely redone by acclaimed interior designer, Steven Gambrel. To say that this home is beautiful is an understatement. There isn’t one room that wasn’t done to perfection. Enjoy! : )

The living and dining room is so spacious and Mr. Gambrel put seating everywhere! I love that this area has a lot of furniture but the flow of the space isn’t interrupted at all.

I love the colors in this room and again, ample seating.

Love this orange sideboard! I think the color is unexpected and very eye catching.

I love a good kitchen setup and design and this is both. I have always liked the idea of bench seating on one side of the table and chairs on the other. The floors are incredible looking.

Lots of counter space and storage space in this kitchen. Just beautiful.

I really love all the built in cabinets and drawers in this apartment. The playroom needs lots of storage space and it looks great!
(HFH’s similar items: Exposition Leather Ottoman, Charmed Circle Table, Rittenhouse Fabric Pendant)

I like that the kids room is very simple and crisp but still totally kid looking.

The bedroom is kept pretty neutral but has lots of textures. Lovely.

Black Walls. A New Trend??

Lately, in several different magazines, I have noticed the use of black paint as the main wall color and then today I came across a post on Apartment Therapy mentioning the use of black walls in small spaces. What do you think? Does anyone have black walls (or a wall) in their home? Chalkboard painted walls don’t count. ; )

I love the look of this dining room! Keeping the furniture and other accents on the lighter side save this room from looking like a cave.

The paneled walls look fantastic and check out the black and white striped wall in the other room!

Black and white bedroom… Nice.

Great looking room. Love the mirrored coffee table.

How about black in the kitchen? The turquoise doors looks amazing with the rest of the room.
